I still haven't made this! I have a heap of lemons, so must get on to it. I can't get pure alcohol anymore, only isopropyl, which has nasties added to it to make it unpalatable.
Next time I'm in Perth, I'll have to go the Home Brew Shop and get some.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Vodka is supposed to be fairly tasteless. Uni when you have drink, how much do you have in a glass? Do you drink it from a shot glass?

My first sip nearly killed me - I served it in a shot glass CP.  I soon got used to it and aquired a taste for it but one mouthful wasn't enough so I then started using a glass that would hold a couple of ice-cubes and 1/2 cup limoncello  ;D ;D :P :P  Sadly my bottle is all gone now but I will make it again when I get around to it.  It is lemony but it is also had a very strong liqueur bite to it, hard to explain really.  You have to make it and find out for yourself.

Alright so maybe I should make a headscarf in the 2nd bottle. Any idea of shelf life - or not going to have one cos it flies off the shelf?

Uni makes it with pure alcohol and keeps it in the freezer CP but I can't get my hands on pure alcohol and the vodka version froze over even though alcohol is not supposed to freeze??!!  I then just kept it in the fridge and poured it over ice.

I bought some limoncello about 7 years ago in Italy.  I've never opened the bottle (don't know why, I love lemon and vodka????).  Do you think it would still be ok to drink?
