I'm thinking of having a go at making this during the week but I'm confused by the amount of sugar - the recipe says 200ml but should it be grams? Or is it sugar syrup? If sugar syrup what is the quantity of sugar to water to make the syrup.  Also can I buy pur alcohol at a home brew shop?

I made this last week and tried it on the weekend, I used 200gms of sugar and it was so sweet I cant drink it.  Not sure if I want to give it another go or not.  Now I need to find a use for it - maybe just add it to another lot of Vodka?

Yes I use vodka & just follow Uni's recipe on page 1 Wonder.  I weigh the water and sugar into the TM bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves. I didn't find my first lot too sweet at all.

So I mix the 200ml sugar with the boiling water. Is that correct. I'm getting all ready for when I get home.  :) :)

That's what I did. I just mixed. Them together and mixed with a small whisk and left it to cool
