About to make these to go with a cream of chicken soup from the CA Thermomix site.
The boiling bath is similar to what you do for laugenbrotchen here, likewise pretzels and so on.

Hi Tarasis, I'm not surprised because this recipe comes from a friend who leaves near Germany (Alsace), so the recipes must be very similar...

Just finished eating them, we made 11 and had one left over. Everyone liked them (4 people having 2 each). Highly recommended and worked well with the soup

Putting them in boiling water first makes them sort of like a bagel consistency I would guess.
