Oh yes coleslaw soup is not fun lol.  coleslaw is so easy to make in the thermo, you should give it a go.

Wonder I just use the EDC recipe. Make sure you use the spatula to move it all round and for time err on the side of caution. It is too easy to make coleslaw soup.

Mmm I have successfully made coleslaw once,and then 2 failures.  Thought I might do it by hand next time. I think I try and do too much at one time.  Do you think it is best to do each vege separate, this is how I did my vege slice last night and then you get the texture. At least you can put coleslaw soup into a casserole and not waste it.

Yum fundj. I haven't had pickled pork for ages and I love it.

Bedlam I've had heaps of coleslaw failures so this time I followed the EDC exactly and it worked. I hadn't been using the spatula to move it all round before.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

l thought to myself that it would be goodidea  if the black lid  which locks in to the  top
if it was a clear see through lid instead of black as l like to look in and keep checking to make shore l have not over process stuff
as l have  too many times when with many of stuff has been over prosessed it

Probably some wheaten bread and because I didn't plan ... um ... maybe something for tea / lunch (Possibly Short Crust Pastry and Minced Beef to make a Minced Beef Pie (or Mince Tart / Mince Pie or Mince Round- NOT to be confused by Fruit Mince Tart's often usually made for Xmas)

Hi all
I have been on a cooking rampage since my demo last week.  Finally bought my my secon bowl.....yay
So here goes in no particular order
Pasta carbonara from mwoc
 
Lasagna al forno from mwoc as well as a vegetarian version for me  :P (made the spinach lasagna sheets)
Guenter crackers plain vego cookbook
Hommus (my famous recipe ;D)
Rock cakes edc with choc chips
Cherry bites
Butter chicken from Indian cookbook as well as butter chickpea and veggies (for me)
Cheese and bacon rolls
Naan bread (forgot the yeast  :-)) )
Warm couscous salad (from varoma party without the chicken)
My pancake mix
Baci chocolates
.......and theres more

Ooooo forgot to mention the quarter pound cake that looked delicious but tasted foul.......I used salt instead of suagr :-[


I am on a mission to use all my tm cookbooks and try at least 3 new recipes per week

You have been extremely busy there rara1. Shame about the cake though cause it does look wonderful lol. Reminds me of the other day when DH flicked his belt at me and accidentally connected with my leg. Ooch. So I made him a coffee a bit later and added a nice heaped teaspoon of salt. Oh the look on his face when he took a good mouth full was priceless lol.

I attempted the coleslaw in the TMX once.  Total disaster.

I like the shredded cabbage, not chopped so I use my 100-year-old  "kraut cutter" that also works a treat for shredding iceberg lettuce for Mexican foods.

I can shred a head of cabbage in the same amount of time I would use to cut it and run it through the TMX process and I have the long, fine strands that I prefer.

I find the Tmx coleslaw is like the KFC coleslaw and even alot of bought coleslaw...ie finely chopped and even more so with JDs sweet mayo dressing....the problem with thermie is your never going to get larger pieces evenly cut like most do coleslaw so if thats what your after then your not going to like the coleslaw ..

I'd like to try my hand at a lemon tart.  I'll need to adapt the recipe for the TMX but I think it'd be a lot easier in the TMX.

I might make my sick little boy some little cherry tarts too.  (I found a bag of cherries I'd pitted in the freezer!!  ;D)

Oh and I need to use up some veggies so I'm doing a veggie bake with the white sauce courtesy of the thermomix.

Oh dear!!!!, see what I do when I've got an exam to study for.    :o


PS - We like our coleslaw fine here.

Foodiepep, here's a TMX lemon tart recipe.
Trudy's Impossible Lemon Pie is nice too.
