Judy that looks very appetising.

It was rather nice Cookie - after I took the photo I realised that DH's plate ended up with most of the prawns so I pinched some of his. :-))

I made cupcakes using the Better Than A Packet Cake recipe and decorated the tops with half chocolate and half orange butter icing and then topped them with orange M&M's for DGD's after school Halloween party and then made Sweet Potato, Lentil & Lemon Soup for the evening meal.

Hi MAB19 and welcome to the forum. You cakes sound delicious and attractive.
I've made Isi's bread this morning and for dinner we're having this.

Today I've made custard for ice-cream as well as a cheese sauce for vegetables-au-gratin to go with our weber roast chicken for lunch.

Thanks for the welcome Cookie1.  The Salmon Bake looks yummy so I will have to give that a try.  We are not great fans for smoked salmon so will try it with a tin of salmon instead.  I have a batch of Ed & Lee's Yummy Crusty Rolls ion the oven at the moment and they smell wonderful.

I've just made some ricotta to make a Lemon Ricotta Cake tomorrow. I'm going to a Pudding Club on Thursday and no it isn't for pregnant Mums. A local lady is starting it up and it's ladies taking along a sweet plate of goodies having a coffee and sharing the food and recipes. I thought I'd see what it was like.

I had my op on Saturday (:Breast Cancer Lumpectomy and recon combined. :( ) I was only in hospital overnight and came out Sunday morning. My! you are in and out these days aren't you?  :o I have to wait another 3 weeks to find out if it was entirely successful though.  :-))I am not quite up to the weight of my TMX because I have to be kind to my underarms at present,so I am heartily glad that I filled my freezer beforehand. It would of course be good if my family were into Thermomix as well so they could make their own treats when they call on me cos I am running out of those sort of things already. Funnily enough, the things you people are making seem more enticing than the meals I have frozen. I want to make something right now.

Hi DD, don't worry about having treats in the house for visitors.  You've had an op and should be resting up so look after yourself and let everyone else do the same.  Good luck with the results, my thoughts are with you.  I was in the same position as you a couple of years back (not the same op) and everyone who came to visit bought something for our lunch and really spoilt me.

Cookie, the Pudding Club will be a great place to let the ladies sample your Thermomix cooking - of course then you will have to tell them all about the machine and they will all want one.  I just hope you all don't end up looking like a pudding  ;D

Wow DD only overnight. That's incredible. Hope you recover quickly and are back to normal  soon. And good luck with the results. Thinking of you.
