Made 2 bread sticks, flat breads to have with beetroot dip,  and my favourite quiche for lunch,(unexpected guest).  Parsnip mash with sour cream to have with roast chic. Today.   Made JulieO's salsa,  loved it.

I've had a pleasant morning doing those things that aren't thrilling but you're glad you've done them.

Yesterday I bought 2 biggish bags of fresh green beans going out on special, so today I trimmed and blanched them and have now vacuum packed them in amounts for 2 and have put 8 bags in the freezer.

I've also got some raspberries, blueberries and blackberries that I'm about to lay out onto trays, freeze then tomorrow will vacuum pack.

Have also made a start on Tenina's chicken salad & Vietnamese dressing.  Dressing is made, chicken cooked and flaked, just have to put it altogether later.  ;D

Today I made Carribean Carrot Cake from the EDC and am about to make JudyDawn's zucchini and carrot fritters to freeze for an alternate to hash browns for breakfasts over Christmas. For dinner it's chicken curry.

Today, I've made chocolate covered almond things - kids loved them so that was a bonus, mini mince pies with tmx pastry, mixed berry sorbet.  Dinner was sausages and pre made tmx mash outta the freezer.

Am shattered as it's school holidays here and the last term has left us exhausted. Coupled with the fact that here in the Northern Hemisphere it's cold and the days are short. It was absolutely dark at 4.30pm here this  afternoon :(
