More plum jam, impossible pie (in the oven now) and impossible quiche for dinner. Have run out of white sugar and only have raw sugar so no more cooking today.

I dont know yet, but its so exciting to come home and now cook for 4 people, 2 growing boys.

I have meat etc in freezer but need to go to coles, so will take ds & eb and see what they want in terms of veggies etc so can decide what to make.

Eb loves mince, so will make mm bol sauce for lasagna, burgers one night, he also loves chicken, so will finally make the chicken kievs. Cakes, biscuits etc, such fun

I made Ra-Ra's pancakes this morning, a big hit with the kids. After I've gone shopping I'm going to attempt the Swedish Ice Cream Cheese Cake for tomorrow's dessert when I have people over. I'm also cooking a butterflied leg of lamb for my guests on the Weber and will be trying the Greek Style Lamb Marinade from this forum, but lamb is still thawing so marinade might have to wait until tomorrow.
The kids have requested a non-TMX meal tonight - spoilsports! And just when the weather is cooling down a bit and I'm itching to get into the kitchen!

DeeDub, a non thermie meal, how strenuous  :D :D

Just got the impossible quiche out of the oven to have with sausages and salad. Leftover impossible pie with ice cream and berry coulis for dessert.

A friend called this afternoon to say she was coming over so I whipped up a batch off EDC choc chip cookies to have with our coffee. They were ready when she arrived.

I had the 2 grandkids today and asked them what they wanted for lunch.  Tuna Mornay and chicken soup (in this weather  :o) but being the good Grandma that I am, I made both plus a batch of Strawberry Cooler (using raspberries and straining the mixture).  They decided they wanted the soup first so 2 bowls each later they decided they didn't need the mornay afterall.  GD7 asked me why I was always cooking ???

Hally, while preparing for Christmas I ended up making 4 batches shortbread over 3 days and I doubled the recipe - it worked perfectly.  :)  :)
