Made some Tom Ka Gai for first time today for meals tomorrow and it is lovely and warming. I think you need fish sauce for the salty component though.

Another one to make again - yum!!

Oh and also made some peanut butter - so simple!!

More Chow Mien today and then will use leftovers to make spring rolls.   Went to a Cocktail party at the opening of an exhibition on Napoleon at the Victorian Gallery.  The food was great.  All finger food with a French twist.  Will try making the small Apple pies today and post if successful.  Also had tiny grilled cheese and ham sandwiches,  mushroom and potato croquettes, small pav. The size of  a twenty cent piece with cream and 1 raspberry sitting on top.  Tiny ice cream cones with  a fishy cream sauce.

Made a double batch of chicken, bacon & cheddar sausage rolls.  It made 7 dozen little rolls and 2 big pasties.  Will put some in the fridge for ourselves and take the rest to DD on Saturday for her Intimo party.
