First i made the thx corned beef.. Lovely and tender.. Wanted to test it and wanted to use it in amys mini quiches ... They are very moorish.. Im having trouble keeping them on a plate to put in the fridge to take to school tomorrow lol

I did them mini muffin size.. Cooked them more than 15 as i thought they were undercooked even they tasted delish.. But even browned alot more they stay the same inside.. So all good..very yummy and bought a bunch of fruit to make fruit sticks in the morning.. 😊

Is that so that they peel easier?

would have been very easy to peel if i wanted to peel them but   ;D

i put them through a  passatutto (a food mill) not sure what they are called then made a nap sauce

Do you think if you put the cross in the bottom of the tomatoes (like when you blanch) they would peel as easily?
I think food mills are called moulis or is that just short for the brand name moulinex?

Kim, no doubt those muffins are hard to keep on the plate, they look wonderful, nice twist to use corn beef in them.

I like the mini ones too Kim, for some reason they taste better than those made in full sized muffin tins  :-))  They will disappear very quickly tomorrow I'm sure.

I'm with you Uni, don't have one but know what they are.

I've just made Amy's quiches too, also Judy's caramelised onion and mushroom ones as small quiches. Made Tenina's White Chocolate and raspberry mousse thing and some salads for tomorrows lunch. I'll do the bread in the morning and finish the salads.
In Amy's quiches I used ham as DH has just bought a lovely ham.

Seems like I strayed from the quche trend, although technically my dinner did involve eggs, too! I made a tofu egg bake sort of dish with beansprout and peanut sauce or "tahu telor" in Malay speak. Feeling a little romantic today so I cut the bake in heart shapes :-)
