You are not helping me try to resist buying any more kitchen ware Julie  ;D
The tin and scrolls/cake look great  8)

Thankyou.  It's the first kitcheny thing I've bought since the pasta maker last February!  Was good to buy something again.  ;D

Thankyou Thermilover.  :D

I've done it. DH put in quite an order for bits and pieces from eBay so I thought what the heck. It's only $$$$$. I may as well spend it. I can't wait to try it for lots of things. Thanks so much for telling us about it Julie. I have one other Nordicware cake tin and it really is wonderful. Because of the design in the tin I never bother icing cakes I make in it.

I liked the look of the Peanut Butter and Chia Muesli bars Julie posted the link to.

I made them late yesterday. They are so very easy to make. I ended up using a mix of maple syrup and honey as I ran out of maple syrup and didn't have any more. They are really tasty. Even DH liked them, and he says he hates 'raw, healthy' things.

That looks really good Cookie, there are so many lovely things to make these days it's hard to pick.  ;D

I'm sure you'll love the tin too.  I have a few different ones, they really are a work of art.  :D

Made 3 blackberry pies, 1 apple & raspberry pie, 1 vegetable pie in the oven at the moment & 1 plain cake to be made into lamingtons tomorrow.  The fruit pies have all gone to the family.

Enjoy your big batch of free soup Denise, it's great when we are given home grown fruit or veggies.

I need to make some goodies, so I think I may do Lamingtons as it is almost Australia Day.

I wanted to make lamingtons too, but I think I've ran myself out of coconut!  I've made granola, yoghurt flatbreads, spinach & cashew dip and coconut jam slice. The slice recipe I have made many times and is from the bake play smile blog. Today I used 6 finely sliced nectarines for the filling instead of the jam. It's really tasty and not as sweet as the jam one.

Kimmyh, lovely as usual and what a good idea with the nectarines.
Yesterday we were at friends for lunch and they served a cold pea and mint soup.  It was delicious.  Will get the recipe and make some.

I made a huge pot of chicken and corn soup, with veges.
I have frozen 1 for us, 1 for Mum and Dad, and given the other to our elderly neighbors :).
would feed at least 12.

I also made dumplings to go with it.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.
