I found some over ripe bananas this morning so of course had to whip up some muffins  ;D
then I made some brownie - one mix as mini muffins and the other mix as...well...brownie!
then some fruit leathers
then just some more hard boiled eggs  ;D
:D

Made bols sauce in the Bessemer pot and used it for shepherds pie last night and put two small ones in the freezer and there is enough left over for us both to have a couple of pies for dinner tonight. Made banana muffins for the men's morning tea followed by Teninas chocolate banana cake; yum.

I've only made soup, Pumpkin & Kale. DH likes to take soup for lunch, even in hot weather.
Also made some Nut Paste.
Eating out tonight at the Fringe Festival, hope we find something good to eat.

Nice to see you on today Troupie, I haven't been in as much either, busy packing before we shift.
Astarra, all your goodies you make for the family must save you a bunch of money. When my 4 kids were all at school I remember all the baking I did without a Thermomix. Wish I had one back then.

Also made Bol sauce.  Added Golden syrup and a touch of cinnamon. All the hidden veggies were zapped in the TMX before being added. Left it to cook in the SC while we went shopping.

You have all been busy. Astarra how do you do your fruit leather please?
I'm going to make some Shortbread and some Chhese and Rosemary biscuits, but DH is having a Nanna nap and I don't have the heart to turn the thermomix on for a while.

Does DW have far to travel to her new school DD? It must be exciting for her, or horrid.......breaking in a new staff.  I  have a friend who is Principal of a school in the Gosnells/Armadale area and she has been there for 12 months. She said most of her day is sorting out these particular type of problems.  Its a very big job.

Cookie her new school is closer than the last one and it is a bigger school so she has a deputy to share some of the work load. So far it is exciting for her, she is enjoying the new staff. You are right though it is a very big job.

DD, wish your wife good luck. I only worked in 3 schools and each one challenged in a different way.

I literally just use fruit, mainly apple with something else (these were with apricot and the other batch with rhubarb and golden syrup)
use the method in the lunchbox and after school recipe book.
HTH  :)
