It looks good Chookie, ratio of cake to apple is better for you so it looks like you get to enjoy it all to yourself.

It looks delicious Chookie. I cooked my rye SD this afternoon and have just put a carrot, zucchini and walnut loaf in the oven. I must check to see if I have shared the recipe. It’s delicious.

DS bought home an icecream container of blackberries from work on Friday, not sprayed.  Over the weekend I made 6 blackberry pies for the freezer and a tea cake for DH

They look good. I've just taken a fruit loaf out of the oven and I plan to make some biscuits this afternoon.

I made the Peanut Cookies from Cookidoo. DH and DD said they are very nice. I did reduce the sugar a bit.
DH has made some Pea and Ham soup from one of the ham bones in the freezer. We had a tiny bit of rain and it is only 21 degrees and 1.30pm. Just beautiful. It's heating up to low 30's in a few days but that won't be too bad.

I dug up the potatoes and got about a bucket full. I tested some and they make beautiful chips.  The large ones I have made into chips and boiled them ready for cooking in the AF. Packed into serve size portions and frozen.
The medium ones I’ve peeled  boiled and frozen for roasting and have some small ones with I will steam in their skins.
Yesterday I boiled a chicken to make stock for soup and the meat. Made Ral chicken soup with rice , stock and meat. No veggies. Low fibre. His recovery is very slow but predicted by Dr. I’m finding it difficult to provide interesting low fibre meals that taste nice.

200 degrees , 12 to 15 minutes.  Depends on what you bake them in. Cake release very good at preventing sticking. These contained fresh Asparagus and corn.
Not as pale looking as in photo.
