DH made stilton icecream and an olive oil one as well - both delicious with strawberries, cracked pepper and a splash of balsalmic vinegar (the stilton guarantees the teenagers won't scoff the lot ;) ). Another batch of the tomato ketchup recipe from MWOC - extra chilli in it for some bite. Salmorejo as well, a hot weekend here in Perth so chilled soup is wonderful.

Bonsai, as much as i adore stilton or any cheese that looks and smells rotten, i just cant get my head around stilton ice cream!!! I know smelly cheese (as my family call it) is an aquired taste, but ice cream?????  Can you post the recipe, please? :)

Cyndi's Protein Smoothie (which I normally love but I added the green powder for the first time today and really didn't like the taste or colour)

My absolute favourite, Bimby chocolate cake ready to freeze for lunchboxes tomorrow.

Fast Chicken Curry for dinner.....yum yum!!

It's to hot here today to do much of anything, but this morning I made smoothies and porridge and then tahini which I added to the hommus that I made for DH to take to work, and I am just eating the leftovers of it now lol.

The cheese flavour of the icecream is quite subtle - we had a gorgonzola icecream at a restaurant recently as part of an entree dish, which gave DH the idea. I'll post the recipe when I get if from him (he often makes things up as he goes so may not have an actual recipe  :-))

Thanks ladies.  My little man heading off to school will love some iced cake in his lunchbox occasionally.  :)

Think I'm a bad mum. I never ice cakes for home as it is. Not sure if I've ever put cake in their lunch boxes either (maybe when we've had to get through it) but never iced, it would be too messy.
Made that marshmallow rice bubble bar last week and wont' send that in as it's sticky, lol.

This morning I made what I'm calling Sultana Buns, though they are based on the EDC hot cross buns recipe (with alterations).  Lovely to have for a morning tea with a cuppa and something you can have any time of year not just around Easter.

Julie,  you are a tease.   How I would LOVE one of your. buns.   Perhaps I could just lick the screen,  no calories there.
Visitors for lunch,  so made Farfallinas's Cordon Bleu with a new salad.  Will post when I have time as it can be made ahead and can be served hot or cold.
