I have some of Chookie's Rustic bread going. NOt sure what the rest of the day will bring. We have leftovers of the curry I made for last night for tonight.

I tried making some chocolate filled steamed bunny bread last night, like Helene's - mine didn't work either!! :(
But I also baked some in the oven and they weren't too bad - a bit dry though... maybe we'll work it out for next year!!  ;D

Today I have some sourdough crossaints on the go and have just made Helene's spicy Paneer. It was really easy to make and looks lovely. The recipe is on her blog here.

Easter holidays so time to cook!  DH and I put together 2 batches of stock (chicken and duck), 2 lots of pumpkin soup, mushroom risotto, a batch of Isi's 'very normal bread' (which i must have put too much water in - GLUE!!  :o ).  Mascarpone cheese, arabian lemonade, chopped veg for a sofrito to slow cook beef cheeks in, a batch of simnel cakelets (I'll post recipe), zabaglione which was made into icecream (to go with the cakelets).

Have a bottle of moscato given to us which is waaayyy too sweet for our taste - any suggestions to tame it?  thought of making it into a jelly, or maybe part of a cocktail/punch with less sugary ingredients.....  Maybe it could be friends with my arabian lemonade?

Even the word Moscato makes me cringe. I would "re-gift" it.  ;) ;D
