Yes I do use bread improver Uni, just about ready to starting using the absorbic acid I bought as an alternative to the Wallaby bread improver so hoping there is no difference.

Have been given 2 buckets of mangoes so I will be chopping and vacuum sealing them for use throughout the year. First time using the sealer since it arrived early this week. BTW has anyone found the cheapest source for bags/rolls?

Bread improver was discussed in this thread Uni so I decided to take notice of what was written there.

So far I made a Boston bun, vanilla slice, cherry ripe slice, and some fudgy wudgy biscuits, about to make some cheese and bacon rolls, 2 pizzas and some sausage rolls to keep the hungry workers (and kids) happy for the week ( or how ever long it lasts).

Made a frozen banana choc coffee maca powder smoothie for a pre 60km cycle breakfast. It was pretty good and kept me going the whole way.

DD how do you get your smoothies down with Maca powder in them??!! I have tried and tried and I can't get past the taste. I have resorted to buying a capsule filler and capsules and my beloved DH fills them for me so I can just swallow them in one go (I think he does this for his own sanity ... i.e. the difference that the maca powder makes to me lol  :-)) :-)))

It's been a scroll fest here today. I've made salami and cheese scrolls and garlic scrolls using the EDC pizza dough. Also made apple cinnamon scrolls and chocolate custard scrolls using the EDC brioche dough. I'm experimenting with freezing them so I have a go-to stash in the freezer for lunchboxes.

You are all so busy I am ashamed. I'm doing the minimum and whinging about the heat. I did make some marzipan biscuits yesterday and a pasta and vegetable pasta bake. I'll post the recipe for that.

I must look at that oatcakes recipe. Perhaps you would like to post a review of them if you haven't already Francine.
